Pwllheli 2011
On the 7th June 2011 the Bangor University Golf Society descended upon Pwllheli Golf Club to compete for the UCNW Challenge Cup.
The day was blustery and very interesting with balls galore heading out to sea and straight into ponds and lakes. Amazingly some golfers mastered the elements and returned to the club house with a score worth talking about; most however would have preferred to forget the golf and talk about the views and gorgeous surroundings of the Llyn peninsula.
The Top four golfers on the day were:
- Mr Nigel Malkin (Guest) with 33 points
- Mr Charles Brimecome (University Champion and UCNW Challenge Cup winner 2011) with 31 points
- Mr Ian Giles with 29 points
- Professor Baird with 29 points
